Pousada Arte Urquijo. This small hotel and art gallery operatesin a 17th century manor. The rooms are individually decorated and have goose feather pillows and bathrobes. Guests leave their shoes at the entrance and put slippers on. Six rooms only, children not allowed. In the Historic Center.

Pousada Marquesa. Marquise Inn. Quiet and sophisticated, this 18th century manor has antique furniture and a pool. Notice that there are also six rooms outside the manor, which are not so charming.

Pousada do Ouro. Inn of Gold. Located in a colonial manor in the Historic Center. The rooms are set around a beautiful internal garden.

Pousada Pardieiro. In the Historic Center. There is a garden with macaws and small monkeys, used to being fed by guests. Children under 15 not allowed.

Santa Clara. Located about 10 km far from the city, this hotel is surround by mountains of the Atlantic Forest and affords a beautiful view of the ocean.
